--- 1 --- I got to watch the second episode of Sherlock again on Sunday and I enjoyed it more the second time around since I was able to watch it all of the way through instead of having to do it in pieces. It is still my favorite Sherlock episode out of all three seasons :) --- 2 --- My mother, Yavi and Amanda started watching Downton Abbey season 4 on Sunday. I am only really watching it for the grandma because she is my favorite character. --- 3 --- On Monday the college that Yavi, Amanda and I go to had a snow day because it was incredibly cold (-2 degrees during the day and -17 in the evening) and windy. This is what it said on the Weather Channel about Monday: " Bitterly cold. Partly cloudy skies with gusty winds. Dangerous wind chills as low as -25F. High -2F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph." I was originally going to do a post about the really cold weather that we are having but then I changed my mind. Since you have probably heard me talk about making this hat for a little while now I have decided to share the finished project. --- 1 --- What life is like after finishing the newest episodes of Doctor Who and Sherlock and waiting for more.  --- 2 --- Even thought the March for Life was this past Wednesday over the weekend (of the 18th and 19th) thousands of people joined in the Marches that were held in in  Wyoming, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Maine, Vermont, Ft. Wayne, Green Bay, Iowa, Chicago, El Paso, Dallas, Birmingham, Delaware, and Paris. Though I wasn't able to go to the March for Life in my state this past weekend I heard that I lot of people went to it. I also heard that there was 40,000 people who Marched for Life in Paris, France, which is amazing! --- 3 --- --- 4 --- Last week the basketball team that TJ is on won their first game, which was exciting!! the final score was 30-18. --- 1 --- College has been going pretty well so far and I have been able to keep up with homework this week. On Wednesday I signed up for a gym membership at the fitness center that the college has, not to mention I still get a work out when I have to get to math class because it is on the opposite end of campus from where I park and it is a decent walk there. Getting to my English GSD classes isn't that bad since they are pretty close to each other. --- 2 --- On Pinterest I found a Character Name Generator that a friend of mine had pinned to one of her boards. Any one remember this back pack that I made back in August????? If you don't that's ok, because it no longer exists...........The reason why the backpack no longer exists is because I decided to take it a part, since I never used it, and use the yarn for something else. And the something else that I am making with the yarn is a hat. The pattern that I am using can be found here . --- 1 --- Since this is my first 7 Quick Takes Friday post of the year I decided to start this weeks off by saying that I officially have bought all of my books for school!! Now I just need to get binders and the rest of the things that go with it (except for a backpack since I already have that). --- 2 --- New Years Eve we went over to a friends house to celebrate (it was combined with the cast and crew party for the play that four of my siblings were in at the beginning of December). We had a lot of fun. At midnight we all went outside and banged on a couple pots and blew on horns. One of the dads set off a couple small fireworks. --- 3 --- TJ's first basket ball game of season is tonight and Rosebud's first game is tomorrow!!
