A Year Ago Today

A year ago today I graduated with my associate's degree as an Administrative Assistant. It doesn't feel like it has been a year yet but it has and a lot has happened. Besides graduating last year there was a lot of other things that happened. Some of which happened even before I graduated. Taken by a family member While I don't have to start last year all the way back in January in last year I am going to since it just makes things a little easier to go in chronological order. So in January, we celebrated my grandma's 80th birthday and my sister Teresa flew in the day before to surprise her since my sister had just left to start her last spring semester of college. My mom and the rest of my sisters were at a friend's baby shower the day before. I also started a babysitting job once a week on Tuesdays. The Knit Potato

As I mentioned in my last post I started another Instagram account titled "The Knit Potato," and that I was going back and forth about starting another blog to share all of my knitting updates and ideas on. Well, I have decided to make the jump and start another blog, also entitled " The Knit Potato ." There is also a Facebook page with the same name where I will be sharing the blog posts as well as Instagram posts. So I randomly combined the words knit and potato and created the name. It also came about because I follow an Instagram account, and Facebook page, that is called 'Knitatude.' I am not a Star Wars fan, but that seemed like an appropriate title for today. I have been trying to settle on a topic to write about here but keep getting stuck. Technically I had an idea for a post but I didn't get very far with it. And ironically enough it was going to be a post using the question "What Helps You To Be Creative?" as the prompt/title. So instead I shared the question to my Facebook page to see what people's responses are and I may do another post where I share their responses as well as how I get creative.
