Oh Nuts

...you either stay inside all day or you go outside and play in it or take photo shoots. In the case of my dog, you run around like a spaz. But the nice part about getting 12"+ of snow is that after you play around in it, you get to come inside and warm up with tea/hot chocolate/coffee depending on your preferences. Here are a couple pictures that I took while I was outside.

Even though Christmas is almost here I thought that it would be fun to share some Christmas themed craft ideas that I have found on Pinterest. One craft idea that I found was making star ornaments out of old sweaters and thought that it was a cute idea. Unfortunately there wasn't a pattern for this anywhere that I could find Another homemade Christmas ornament idea that I found was making handprint snowmen, which can be found here .  This adorable Frozen ornament, that I found on an Etsy shop , is a cute idea.  These Mason Jar Lid Snowmen ornaments look adorable and easy to make.

--- 1 --- I was going to say something about school and how it was closed for President's Day and for something on Tuesday, but I wasn't sure if it was going to sound like I was complaining. So I decided not to write it and just explain what I was originally going to write instead :) --- 2 --- This past Saturday I went ice skating for this first time in five years. I went with Amanda, Aaliyah, Yavi and Yavi's friend S. Though I wasn't moving terribly fast on the ice I still had fun. It was S's first time skating since she is from Gahna. --- 3 --- As usual we were watching the Olympics on Sunday evening and the bobsledding was really interesting to watch. --- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards. --- 1 --- Since this is my first 7 Quick Takes Friday post of the year I decided to start this weeks off by saying that I officially have bought all of my books for school!! Now I just need to get binders and the rest of the things that go with it (except for a backpack since I already have that). --- 2 --- New Years Eve we went over to a friends house to celebrate (it was combined with the cast and crew party for the play that four of my siblings were in at the beginning of December).
