Oh Nuts

And just like that, it has been a week since NaNoWriMo has ended! This year I ended the month with 50, 168 words, but my story is far from over. Today was my region's TGIO party and the first time that I was able to make it. And I had a nice time with my  fellow writers As an ice breaker to get to know other people from the region, one of the ML's gave each person a certificate with their username on it and then we had to talk with someone that we hadn't met/talked with before and share a goal that we reach or something that wasn't related to our word count. Once we had talked with someone about the goals or whatever it was that we did then we had to sign each other's certificate and hand them back to the ML (Municipal Liason) who was handing them out. Once we finished with the ice breaker we did lunch and then the ML's started handing out the certificates back to everyone. Normally when I share anything that I have written in one of my stories, I usually try to keep it as current. But this is something that I o riginally wrote back at the beginning of March 2012. And it is from the Fairy Tale Novels Fan Forum that I was a part of for a long time and I only found this again because I decided to log on again and poke around. --- 1 --- The Arctic weather that we had at the beginning of the week was a lot of fun. Especially since one of the pipes in our laundry room frozen and then burst, but we were able to take care of that quickly and we still have water in the rest of the house. --- 2 --- --- 3 --- On the 4th I threw a surprise party for Yavi. Happy New Years Eve everyone!!!!! January: Yavi and I went out to Wachington D.C. for the 40th annual March For Life. We went with a large group from the area. Even though the day of the march was a bit cold it was still amazing to see all of the pro-life people who were there. On the way back the bus that Yavi and I were on had a singing competition and Yavi came in second place! Yavi and I also made it onto the front page of the Catholic News Service (CNS)! I had also gotten rather sick at the beginning of the month. I also went and saw Les Miserables with Yavi and my dearest mother. --- 1 --- Tomorrow is the last day of the August Photo a Day that I have been doing. Though I will miss doing this I will try to post pictures on here as often as I can. --- 1 --- Last weekend we went to a wedding! It was a family friend who was married so everything was very nice. The church that the mass and wedding ceremony was beautiful and old (though it was kind of out it n the middle of know where). All of the bridesmaids dresses were very pretty, the bride's dress was pretty as well. The reception was fun as well. During the reception Yavi caught the bouquet during the bouquet toss. --- 2 --- As you know I have been doing a photo a day thing. It has been interesting trying to come up with things to take pictures of. But it has been fun so far. Monday's was a little hard to do since it was early and I am not an early morning person.
