Thank Goodness It's Over

And just like that, it has been a week since NaNoWriMo has ended! This year I ended the month with 50, 168 words, but my story is far from over. Today was my region's TGIO party and the first time that I was able to make it. And I had a nice time with my  fellow writers As an ice breaker to get to know other people from the region, one of the ML's gave each person a certificate with their username on it and then we had to talk with someone that we hadn't met/talked with before and share a goal that we reach or something that wasn't related to our word count. Once we had talked with someone about the goals or whatever it was that we did then we had to sign each other's certificate and hand them back to the ML (Municipal Liason) who was handing them out. Once we finished with the ice breaker we did lunch and then the ML's started handing out the certificates back to everyone. As we got the certificates we got to pick from pencils, red pens or purple pens an...

I apologize for never posting the last picture for the photo a day thing I was doing last month. I was rather busy that day because I went to a friend's Quinceanera on Saturday, because one of my sisters was one of the Faith companions. Besides the fact that I couldn't think of anything to take a picture of before we had to leave. And I waited to post today because this is includes the traditional congrats on on your graduation post that I do when a sibling is graduating and today is the graduation ceremony that the homeschool group that I belong to does every year. This year TJ is graduating from 8th grade. Since he is the first boy in my family graduating the rest of my sisters were like " What? no hair do, no makeup, no nail polish, no primping to be done on him. He's too young to shave so I guess he just gets dressed and leaves! How boring!"  And to brighten up your day I am sharing something that a friend posted on Facebook.

7 Quick Takes Friday

--- 1 --- Lent has started and this year I am giving up snacks, sweets (except for birthdays and Holy Days) as well as trying to exercise more. I will do my best to let you know how it is going. :) --- 2 --- As I am sure you saw by my post on Sunday that it was my birthday at the beginning of the week. Besides what I talked about in my post that day Amanda and I went out to dinner on Saturday night with two cousins. It was a lot of fun. For dinner we went to "FlatTop Grill" and the food was amazing, especially if you like stir fry. The place that we went to for dessert is one of the best chocolate places ever! In the menu the first two pages list all of the different hot chocolates that they do as well as chocolate lattes and mochas. Not to mention they make amazing desserts. They also have a small store attached where you can by a bunch of different candies. --- 3 --- Words to live by. --- 4 --- Last week I decided to not do a 7 Quick Takes Friday sinc...

--- 1 --- The Arctic weather that we had at the beginning of the week was a lot of fun. Especially since one of the pipes in our laundry room frozen and then burst, but we were able to take care of that quickly and we still have water in the rest of the house. --- 2 --- --- 3 --- On the 4th I threw a surprise party for Yavi. We had a lot of fun and Yavi enjoyed herself. And this is what happens when your younger brother gets a hold of several blow thingys. --- 4 --- found on pinterest --- 5 --- For over a year or so the Fairy Tale Novels Forum has been having a fun campaign to get new members and to promote the forum and Regina's books, the goal was to get up to having 1,000 members by the anniversary of the starting of the forum or when we reached 1,000 members (there is 1,023 members now). And I came in third place for the contest, I was surprised when I found out because I wasn't expecting that and I had kind of forgotten about the contest. When...

--- 1 --- On Sunday friends of ours had a small surprise birthday party for their mom, who was surprised. Everyone had a nice time and Amanda and I got to hang out with our friends and we got to see two friends that he haven't seen in a little while as well. --- 2 --- Besides going to a party we got a lot of wind and rain on Sunday as well. A couple places got tornadoes as well. One town/city in my state got hit pretty hard by a tornado, so please say a prayer for them as they start rebuilding everything. Don't forget to pray for everyone in the Philippines who was affected by the typhoon that it not to long a go. --- 3 --- I apologies if my 2nd quick take was a little bit on the depressing side. Though this might not be considered depressing for some people, but tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who!!! and my mother, sisters and myself won't be able to watch it then because we have a million things to do that day. But we will watch it! When we do wat...

--- 1 --- --- 2 --- --- 3 --- On Tuesday Roseycheeks had a tea party with a bunch of her friends for her tenth birthday. Though I had to work they all had a good time :) Since it is a tradition since we started having tea parties for all of us girls on our tenth birthdays she also had all of the girls who came bring flowers for a friendship bouquet. Here are pictures that I took of the flowers :) --- 4 --- On Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment so my mother and I went to morning mass together and then drove to the office. Since we were a bit early we stopped at Caribou Coffee and got something. I had the Carrot Cake Muffin, which was delicious, and their cold Peach black tea, with sparkling water, you could get it with non sparkling water as well ;), that was good as well. My mom got a coffee and a raspberry scone. There was a cute looking tea shop next door but both my mother and I agreed that the tea shop that's closer to us is cuter....
