Oh Nuts

This recipe from Taste of Home is something that my family and I have been making for quite a few years now. And it is an easy recipe to double as well as bring to potlucks. My family also makes this recipe sometimes with beef instead of turkey and it is easy to do. We also leave out the celery seed and you can use any type of hamburger bun that you want. Ingredients 1 pound lean ground turkey 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup no-salt-added ketchup 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 tablespoon prepared mustard 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon celery seed 1/4 teaspoon pepper 6 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split Directions In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with onion over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes. Stir in all remaining ingredients except buns; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on buns. I would have done a wordless Wednesday but I haven't really taken any new pictures so I decided to do a writing Wednesday instead. In last weeks 7 Quick Takes Friday I had shared the first couple sentences of the story that I started writing as well as a revised example that a friend of mine did. So today I decided to share the revision that I made to it :) Let me know what you think of it :) While she leaned against the pole of a low-lit street lamp Xiomara sighed and looked around at the rest of the quiet street. Rubbing her hands up and down her arms she straightened up and moved into the middle of the street and started walking along the middle of the road in a random direction.
