  See your goal - This goal can be different for everyone. Sometimes people can have the same goal or it can be complete opposites. The point is that you can see your goal and know what it is that you want to do. Understand the obstacles - Obstacles are a part of life that we all face at some point. What those look like will change over time. Especially when we jump from object to object. But they are something that can be understood and worked through to make us stronger and better people.  Create a positive mental picture - Once we see our goal(s) and understand the obstacles that go with them, we can create a more positive picture and mindset. As of the beginning of last week, I am now participating in Camp NaNoWriMo next month. Why? Because I can and I have an idea that I want to try out. And because every book needs a cover that attracts attention I decided to go into Canva the other night and play around with some pictures and title ideas that I have for the novel that I plan on writing. If you haven't heard me talk about Camp NaNo before, I will briefly explain what it is. It is like the regular NaNoWriMo that happens during the month of November. But with Camp NaNo, more often then not, it happens during the months of April and July. With the new website that NaNo released you can join in different groups, instead of staying in one 'cabin.' Back in January, during one of the many snow storms that we had, I was sitting on the couch scrolling through my phone when the name Sybil popped into my head. Besides the name, the only other information that this character gave me is that she is an orphan/in foster care. One thing that I had started doing, shortly after the character idea came to me, was to start writing down the names to instrumental songs that I was listening to on Spotify. The idea that I had for that was to incorporate the titles as the names of the chapters and then base the scenes, etc. off of that. Whether it will work or not I don't know since I want to do research into different settings and such before I begin writing the story. At 12:00 am this morning, this thing called National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo started. I have mentioned it multiple times before and I will probably continue to mention it multiple times again this month as well as for the next few years. As we begin this month of insane writing here are a few memes and writing prompts that I have found on either Pinterest or Facebook and decided to share here. Enjoy!

Before my NaNo story decided that it didn't want to really follow the plot idea that I had in my head, I made a couple covers using the plot ideas that I had. I also have a cool cover idea that I want to try, but I don't know when it's going to happen.

Whenever we get ideas that we think are cool we always have to write them down right away or tell them to someone to see what they think. But whenever we go to expound upon the ideas more the words don't always come out the way that we want them too. In the past couple days I have come up with to ideas that I thought would make great blog posts but when I started writing and expounding on the ideas it didn't feel right. Maybe the right time for me to write and share those posts will come later down the road, since right now isn't the right time. Since I has probably said this many times before on here, I have a hard time coming up with things to write and post about on here, so I just normally complain about that and post about the weather.
