Long Lost Art That I Drew

Image
The other day my mom was sorting through a bunch of boxes and found some of the art work and stories/book reports that Amanda, Yavi and I have done. So I decided to share the art work that I drew when I was younger. The two stories that I wrote when I was younger will make an appearance on here as well :) The butterfly picture is the only drawing that I know what age I was when I drew it and the other ones are some time around then. I am not sure why it is a sad butterfly Abstract Art I think this is suppose to be me with Amanda, Yavi Aaliyah and our parents It looks like these are pumpkins and that they are suppose to be me and my sisters. I think this one was drawn after one of my siblings was born. Not sure who this is suppose to be a drawing of.

Kids in Church

My dear sister Rosalinda sent me these in an email last week so I decided to share them here since they are pretty funny :) KIDS IN CHURCH: 3-year-old Reese : 'Our Father, Who does art in heaven, Harold is His name. Amen.' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ One particular four-year-old prayed, 'And forgive us our trash baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets.' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~  A little boy was overheard praying: 'Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am.' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~  After the christening of his baby brother in church, Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car. His father asked him three times what was wrong. Finally, the boy replied, 'That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home, and I wanted to stay with you guys.' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  A  Sunday  school teac...

Catholic Kids Camp

Friends of mine have been doing this for several years and last year was the first year that my siblings were able to for all four days. They are going again this year. For this year the theme is Knights and Princesses of God, last year it was Journey to Jerusalem. I would be helping out this year but the kids that I nanny aren't able to go so I won't be able to, because it conflicts with my work schedule. Last year I took pictures for them. TJ is excited because he gets to help out this year and for the skit tomorrow he gets to be St. Dominic Savio. Since I don't work on the last day I might go with, but we shall see. Each day they have a different skit at the beginning of the morning. (it goes from 9:00 till 1:00) They also learn different songs as well. After the songs and skits they go to their different group stations. There are four groups and they are divided by age. Each group gets a name that ...
