Oh Nuts

On Thursday Amanda, Aaliyah and I were out and stopped in at an adorable shop called Betsy's Yarn and Tea Shop . They had a large assortment of teas and a collection of tea pots and cups/saucers in different colors. There was also a selection of yarns there. Of course I pretty much went straight to the yarn, while Amanda went for the tea pots. After looking through the yarn that they had I found a color that I really liked! This is the yarn that I bought, though I haven't decided on what I am going to make with it. http://www.berroco.com/ The tea that I bought is part of a collection, called Be Active Teas, that is sold at the store, and is distributed The Republic of Tea. I got Get Burning: Herb Tea for Metabolism,  and it is Hot Cinnamon Ginger. Since cinnamon is supposed to help with weight loss and I really like cinnamon flavored stuff, I thought it was the perfect kind for me to get. --1-- This week was my spring break. Even though break started off with a round of snow, this week hasn't been that bad. Especially since I consider my spring break to have started on Friday last week, since I am only going two days out of the week.  --2-- To start of my break, on Saturday afternoon, Aaliyah, Rosie, and I went with some of Aaliyah's friends to the movie theater to see "Cinderella." We all loved it. Then in the evening, Amanda, Yavi and I went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate Amanda's birthday. After dinner, since Amanda and two of the friends we went out with hadn't seen it yet,  we decided to go to the movie theater down the street to see "Cinderella." Even though I had just seen the movie I still enjoyed it. --3-- Tomorrow I am going out swing dancing. There is a ballroom about an hour away from where I live and they regularly do swing dancing there and tomorrow is their annual Swinger's B...

--- 1 --- Even though I kind of set myself up for this on accident, but I was roped into acting in "The 7 last Words of Christ." I was originally not going to help because my job didn't allow for me to make a lot of the practices. But then I had to say something about having to work so I couldn't make all of the practices or something along those line.       --- 2 --- I was going to say how I don't like snow, especially after the first day of spring, but I wasn't sure how I was going to word it. (If you missed part 2 you can find it at the bottom of my post from Friday ) The Wednesday that we were up there we went to Paul Bunyan's for a very yummy late breakfast. Since they serve a loggers breakfast they brought out platters of ham and sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hash browns and eggs. They also have really, really good donuts! After we finished breakfast we went over to the gift shop that they have and looked around. I got postcards for some friends and a stuffed animal for one of the kids that I nanny. When we finished looking around there we left and did more souvenir shopping. For the other two kids that I nanny I got them shirts. I got a sweatshirt that has the name of where we went on the front of it :) The last place that we went to was the fudge shop.
