Oh Nuts

--1-- This week was my spring break. Even though break started off with a round of snow, this week hasn't been that bad. Especially since I consider my spring break to have started on Friday last week, since I am only going two days out of the week.  --2-- To start of my break, on Saturday afternoon, Aaliyah, Rosie, and I went with some of Aaliyah's friends to the movie theater to see "Cinderella." We all loved it. Then in the evening, Amanda, Yavi and I went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate Amanda's birthday. After dinner, since Amanda and two of the friends we went out with hadn't seen it yet,  we decided to go to the movie theater down the street to see "Cinderella." Even though I had just seen the movie I still enjoyed it. --3-- Tomorrow I am going out swing dancing. There is a ballroom about an hour away from where I live and they regularly do swing dancing there and tomorrow is their annual Swinger's B...

--- 1 --- Like everyone else in the world my family and I have been watching the Olympics. My favorite event is the Figure Skating. Though the Snowboarding is interesting as well. --- 2 --- --- 3 --- This year at the Daddy Daughter ball I only took two photos that weren't with my family or from dancing, which is kind of surprising because usually there is at least a few group photos of a bunch of the girls that are around my age and we didn't do that. I'm okay with that though. --- 4 --- In case I haven't said this already I am finished with winter and ready for spring. The only things that I like about winter is Christmas and my birthday, which is coming up in a couple weeks. I enjoy snow when it isn't coming down every single week. It hasn't actually done that, though it feels like it at times and I prefer snow when there aren't freezing temperatures thrown in as well. I apologize for my mini rant but I am tired of winter. --- 5 --- ...

On Saturday the homeschool group that my family is a part of had their 12th annual Daddy-Daughter ball, despite the snow. Friday night was set up night and Aaliyah helped two other girls set up this on one of the walls: I would have taken a couple pictures of the decorations that I helped set up in the bathroom but I decided not to because it was kind of dark in there and it felt a little awkward. Besides having fun setting everything up on Friday night we had fun on Saturday. Especially since there were a couple people who came to the ball that I hadn't seen in a while.  one of the table decorations they had a craft table where any of the girls could decorate hearts and then give them to their dads after each family was introduced and had their family fun fact read they got to put a rose into one of the vases that was in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother :)

--- 1 --- Tomorrow is the last day of the August Photo a Day that I have been doing. Though I will miss doing this I will try to post pictures on here as often as I can. Not to mention occasional posts about what going on in my life :) --- 2 --- Last week my brother started reading The Fairy Tale Novels by Regina Doman. He has enjoyed reading them.  --- 3 --- I was going to put the instructions for the backpack that I made in this weeks 7 Quick Takes but they are a bit to long for this sort of thing so I put the instructions in their own post, which will be posted next week. :) In the meantime here is a picture that I took of the backpack that I made :) --- 4 --- Last week when my family and I were at Wal-Mart getting some things my brother and I were by the sunglasses because we both needed a pair.
