Oh Nuts

This past Friday I finally got around to taking some new fall/leave pictures. I would have taken them sooner then that but it was raining a lot last week. This one looks like it should be the cover of a book

--- 1 --- Since I haven't done a 7 Quick Takes in a while I thought that now would be a good time since I wanted to post some thing this week but couldn't think of anything else to post and this week is almost over anyhow. --- 2 --- On Sunday we went to the Byzantine church for mass and then went out to brunch afterwards. When we came home my dad and some of my siblings cleaned up the bushes and gutters outside and then we went and watched the rest of the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons game. The Bears won. After dinner me, my mom, Yavi, Amanda and her boyfriend watched this weeks episode of Once Upon a Time. "Mummy on the Orient Express", followed after OUAT's episode in our afternoon/evening of staring at the TV screen. --- 3 --- Centipedes occasionally like to crawl around either on the wall or the floor and yesterday there was one hanging out on the wall by the computer that my siblings use. Since I don't remember what this particular award is, so here are the questions that were given to me that I had to answer. 1. If you had a sitcombased on your life, what would it be called?  It would most likely be called "My Boring Life." 2. What food is on the top of your list of things you will never, ever, in a million years eat, and why?  Mushrooms, because they sound  gross,  slimy, and disgusting, so I wouldn't eat them. 3. This probably the time where I usually go a little more in-depth about what I am thinking about doing for NaNoWriMo , I haven't decided if I actually want to do it this year or not, while doing school. On Pinterest I started a board just for writing prompts and here are a few that I like and would probable use in my writing.

Today is one of those fall days where you just want to stay inside and drink tea. Especially fall flavored tea. Today's 58 degree weather and 19 to 20 mile an hour winds makes it one of the best days to wear a sweater.  The sweater is from Kohl's It is also one of those days where you just want to sit inside all day and read books.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year. I have always loved how the leaves change colors and look pretty on the trees. Even though fall officially started yesterday the weather had started getting cooler before then, which I don't mind at all.  The smells that I associate with fall are fresh cut grass, apples and pears and I personally feel like you don't really get those smells with the other seasons. I personally think that fresh cut grass smells different in summer.  Fall also means that it is the beginning of sweater wearing and tea drinking. It is also pumpkin season! I've already made a pumpkin smoothie a couple times already as well as pumpkin spice tea. The other day I tried a pumpkin chai tea latte recipe, which was interesting.
