NaNo Prep Days 1-8

It's that time of year again where I slowly start talking about National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) again. While I might not reach the target word goal of 50,00 words each year I still enjoy doing it. Because it challenges me to write something that I don't think is that great. And while I am a little behind in sharing the pictures to my writing Instagram, I decided to share the pictures from the first eight days that I did for NaNoWriMo's Instagram challenge.

Day 1: Past/Future - When I first read this prompt I wasn't sure what to do for it. But then I decided to use the book I was reading at that moment. Especially because "The Alice Network" goes between two different time periods for two fo the characters. So it is the past for one person and the future for another.

Day 2: Shelfie - This one was easy to do since there are numerous bookshelves in the house. But the one pictured is the one in my room, which I am slowly adding books too.

Day 3: Writing Friends - One of my writing friends is my dog, Sully. Who is named after the character from "Monsters Inc." and not the airplane pilot.

Day 4: Baby Photo (future novelist) - Yes it is a picture of a picture, which kind of shows how old I am. But it works and I don't know how old I am, but all credit for the original picture goes to my mom.

Day 5: Flight of Fancy - Now with this picture I found it on Pinterest because I didn't know what else to do for this prompt. And I love how whimsical it is.

Day 6: NaNo Fule - Most of my fule for NaNo is in the pantry of my house and is easy to put together for a snack or sandwich. Not pictured is the fruit and leftovers in the refrigerator.

Day 7: If Your Novel Were a Meme - This is another Pinterest find. And it works with the story idea that I had for last years novel. I was going to re-work the plot from last year and do it this year, but then I had a new idea a day or two after I posted the meme.

Day 8: Come As Your Character - While I don't really know what my female main character looks like, I do know that she would wear t-shirts, jeans, and shorts a lot like I tend to do. Since I was in the car when I remembered to do the prompt for the day I went with a scenic picture instead of trying to do a selfie or drawing.

That is what I have so far for prep time. In the meantime I plan on catching up and then sharing the next batch of pictures and prompts here.
