7 Quick Takes Friday

Exciting News! From now until January 1, 2014, The Goat Milk Soap Shop will be donating the proceeds of all of our sales to the St. Gianna Molla Shrine fund in Yorkville, IL. Our parish is building this national shrine and we want to help. Won't you join us in helping to build this peaceful place of pilgrimage. For more information on the Shrine, go here

Also, take some time to explore our website. Not only will you find the best soap you've ever tried (or smelled), you'll also learn all about the benefits of homemade natural soap.

Say good-bye to dry skin and sticky soaps and hello to great-smelling, moisturizing, all-natural handmade soaps!

As I am sure you have heard me mention in last weeks 7 Quick Takes and in my post on Sunday, I am working on a blanket. The first section is finished and looks very nice and I am working on the second section. Once the second section is finished and they are sewn together I will take a picture of the finished project and share it here :)

Jumping back up to #2 and the topic of soap my mother, sisters and I are still selling soap. And as of right now we are selling Christmas-y smelling soaps and then donating it to the shrine, as mentioned above. Since there is still time to order soap and donate to the Shrine you can hop over to the website and check it out :)
I am pretty much done with all of my Christmas shopping now it all needs to get wrapped before next week. Even though it would be nice to sit in front of a fire with a mug of hot chocolate and wrapping presents while listening to Christmas music, I know it's not going to happen since there are a lot of us.

I had this craft idea stored on Pinterest and decided to share it here :) The craft is How to make a TARDIS land in your home! Though I haven't had the chance to make it yet I want to try making it :)
