7 Quick Takes Friday

Last week on Wednesday Amanda, Yavi, Aaliyah and I went and saw the new Avengers movie since Amanda and I were both off work and we didn't know when else we would be able to see it. We all liked it. On Sunday the rest of my family went and saw it and Aaliyah and I went with and saw it again.

Right now "Heartbeat Song" by Kelly Clarkson is my new favorite song.

I started doing the reading challenge that I started back in January again. It's been slow but I am doing it again and now that school is over I will have more time to read. I was able to check off several boxes with "The Lunar Chronicles" series by Marissa Meyer. Now I am re-reading "Pride and Prejudice" to knock off a couple other categories.

Tuesday morning, since I was feeling a bit bored and had some time on my hands, I ran to Wal-Mart for a quick trip to see if I could find any shirts and skirts to add to my summer clothing. I did find a couple skirts but they didn't really look that good on me, though I did find two shirts. I also found a mesh bag to use for when I go to the pool and other stuff.

Recently my family and I have discovered the app Dubsmash and we are having a lot of fun with it. On Tuesday Yavi put together a video of all of her favorites and they are pretty funny.

I was really stoked about the AVengers movie...enough to go opening weekend with my son and again with my husband the next weekend. I loved what they did with Hawkeye, but that last bit with the Hulk and Widow, I just went, "Gaaaaah!!! NOOOOOO!"

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards.
