What I Have Been Reading Lately...

In the week and a half that I have been out of school and on summer break I started re-reading the Fairy Tale Novels Series by Regina Doman.

Since I hadn't read it in a while I started off by reading the most recent (as in a couple years ago) to the series and have since made my way backwards through the rest of the series.



It also helped that on Wednesday last week I didn't have anywhere to go or really anything to do so I pretty much spent the entire day inside reading. The weather didn't help with that either since it was raining and rather dreary out.

When I started doing my re-reading of the series it took me a day and a half to go through the first three books, but now my pace has slowed down a bit, mostly because I was rather busy on Sunday. But it probably won't take me terribly long to get through the book I am currently reading as well as the other two books that I still have left to read.

I'll be interested to know what you think of them after you reread them! I remember loving the first, liking the next two, and then not really liking them a whole lot after that. The "romance" in the 40 Cyber Theives was especially disheartening Looking back, I tend to think the quality declined, BUT it's more likely that my tastes matured.

Have you read the books she wrote with Bratten Weiss? Bratten is a favorite professor of mine, but I was really disappointed by the book. Knowing Bratten, I can guess why it is like that, but I hear the sequel is very depressing.

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards.
