There's No Place Like Home

Whelp...I'm back from vacation. It was a lot of fun though and I can say that we got our tent taking down and packed up skills down to around 45 minutes. And that is with taking down two tents. While we all enjoyed ourselves on the trip, we are all glad to be home and to have an extra day in there before having to go back to work.

Between the pictures that I took with the camera on my phone and my nice Canon camera I have over 100 pictures from the trip and that doesn't count the couple pictures that I deleted off of both devices.

In my last post, before going on vacation, I mentioned that I was going to start the photography scavenger hunt thing while on vacation. While I had brought it with me I didn't really take any pictures for it. Although some of the pictures that I took on vacation could have worked for it, I decided not to keep them as vacation pictures and then just start doing it now that we are back. When I actually start doing the scavenger hunt is another story.

All of my photos are now edited and uploaded to Facebook. Now it is just a matter of sorting the pictures from my Canon that I edited into the correct order that they go in with the photos on my phone. The pictures from the end of the trip is going to be the easiest to sort into the correct order because they just get to sit at the end of the folder while I move the rest of the pictures around.

My original plan during vacation was to write a couple posts in my writing notebook and then post them on here when we got back. Of course that didn't happen. So now I shall have to remember as much as I possibly can from what we did at the beginning of the week so that I can at least get one or two posts up on here. At least that is the plan in my head and of course it will probably change.

If I don't post anything about what we actually did I can still upload and post a bunch of the pictures that I took while we were gone so that you can kind of get an idea of what we did.

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway.
