Gospel Reading: Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

"When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. They neglect their appearance, so that they may appear to others to be fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to be fasting, except to your Father who is hidden." (Matthew 6:16-18)

As Lent begins, ask Our Lord for His Guidance in your daily practice of prayer, fasting, and good works through the Lenten season.*

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards.
