7 Quick Takes Friday

Going from 60 degrees at the beginning of the week, several tornadoes, lots of rain and wind, are included in that, to 26 degrees at the end of the same week. Last week on Saturday night it got down to 6 degrees. So it went from nice spring weather to really cold winter weather. When I move out, when ever that is, I want to move to someplace that doesn't have terribly cold winters or really hot summers, because I don't like extremely cold or really hot weather. Once I find out which states have mild winters and summers I will let you know when I decide to move there ;) :)
Tomorrow is the last day of NaNoWriMo and I haven't been to bad with my procrastination. There was only about three days total where I either didn't write at all or only wrote a couple hundred words. But I have been trying to make up for the days where I didn't really write by trying to write at least two thousand or more words. 


The other day when I was looking though Pinterest I came across a recipe for Caramel White Hot Chocolate that sounded very delicious. Though the recipe is originally from here I am sharing it here as well :) So here is the recipe for Caramel White Hot Chocolate :)
Ingredients
  • 8 oz. Premium White Hot Chocolate (This is important, don’t buy the cheap stuff!)
  • 4 Cups of Milk or Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 2 TBSP Caramel
  • Marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Combine all in ingredients in a Crockpot and stir frequently.
  2. Cook on low for about 4 hours until chocolate is melted and warm
  3. Add 2 TBSP of Caramel to each glass of Hot Chocolate before adding warm hot chocolate
  4. Top with Marshmallows & Serve

On Saturday my sister Rosalina got a 1 Direction poster from a friend of her's as a belated birthday present. Of course when she pulled it out of her bag, I had to pick her up from the girl's group that she was at, she hit me in the eye with the end of it, she had meant to hit me on the head with it. Even though it was an accident it still hurt a little. This is her excited dance once we got home and she had opened it:



On Tuesday evening my mother, Yavi, Rosalinda, Rosy cheeks, TJ,  AJ and myself had the chance to watch the Doctor Who 50th episode!!!!! Friends of ours, who are also Whovians, invited us over to watch it since they could get it on demand. I really liked it and I want to watch it again, which I think we will be since Amanda didn't come with us. If you have seen the episode I suggest watching The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot video :) A different friend and fellow Whovian posted a link to the 35 Greatest Easter Eggs from the Doctor Who 50th Special. I read all of them and thought I didn't know that there were Easter eggs I did catch some of them :D

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards.
