The Knit Potato

As I mentioned in my last post I started another Instagram account titled "The Knit Potato," and that I was going back and forth about starting another blog to share all of my knitting updates and ideas on. Well, I have decided to make the jump and start another blog, also entitled "The Knit Potato." There is also a Facebook page with the same name where I will be sharing the blog posts as well as Instagram posts.

In case you missed it in my last post the story behind the name "The Knit Potato" is because I own a shirt that says 'If I'm sitting, I'm knitting' on it as well as the phrase couch potato. So I randomly combined the words knit and potato and created the name. It also came about because I follow an Instagram account, and Facebook page, that is called 'Knitatude.' And I wanted to do something that was fun and showed a bit of who I am. So that is how I came to 'The Knit Potato.'

Not to mention that I liked it a lot better than my placeholder name which was 'Knits by Megan.' Because that just sounds boring and I don't always feel boring.

But don't worry I will still be posting here on this blog. I will be doing my best to share more of my random thoughts and ideas here as well as other things, like any writing progress that I do. So don't worry about that. I am just letting you know what I have been up to lately with 'The Knit Potato.'

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway. It was really cold out and it made my stomach kind of hurt a little bit afterwards.
