Stuck In A Rut
Lately, I have been a bit quiet on the blogging front for this blog. But that is partly because I am having a hard time finding something to write about. While that isn't all true I do have two blog posts that I started working on, but haven't finished yet because I got stuck with where to go next. On the blog have for "The Knit Potato" I put up two blog posts this week. So you are more than welcome to pop over and read them. I also plan on having another post or two up there soon.

"I think frequently about how difficult it is to find good blog posts that are either a) interesting or b) useful in a practical or applicable way...for instance, I'm not a parent or a doctor, but I find pregnancy posts or daily routines of a third-year medical student equally fascinating. Plant posts, essential oils, and DIYs? Not so much. For someone else, that might speak to them. That's okay...I just know it's not aimed at me and move on. A bonus is reading one that also speaks to me and where I am in life right now: life organization, jobs, mental health, books and podcast recommendations, interiors, and such."
In this paragraph, I love how Grace mentions that it can be difficult to find good blog posts that are interesting or useful/practical. Which is something that I sometimes struggle with when I am trying to figure out what to post about. I think that it is because of the feeling of not being interesting enough that I have slowed down in my blogging and struggle with finding something to post about. While I have since deleted my old blog, but if I still had it up and running I could show how I posted over there quite frequently and just looking at the posts that I have written here I posted a lot. And while posting infrequently isn't bad, I want to try doing it little more than I currently have been. In the meantime I plan on working on what to post about and if I want to stick to a schedule of sorts of when I will be posting. Hopefully, I finish the two blog posts that I started and still have sitting in the draft pile.
