Sometimes The Smallest Step

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction...Will create the biggest change in your life!

Everyone is afraid at some point in their lives to take the first small step in the right direction towards something great. For each person, that direction will be different, but we will all get there. Whether it is in the way that we expected it too. Or in a way that is completely different than what we had expected it too. But the moment we take the first small step it will create the biggest change in our lives. What that change is no one knows.

Although the first step and the first change go hand in hand we can't see the future, though we are always trying to change the direction that we are going in. Even if we do change direction and go in the wrong direction that first step will take us to something that will change us for better or worse. Sometimes people plan on setting out to do great things in their lives, but then they end up in a worse place than they started. That is part of the change and direction that we head in when we take the smallest step out of our door.

Like Tolkien says in the above quote we don't know where we will be going once we step out our doors. This is why the first smallest step is the most important one because it starts us on a journey. Whether it is for good or bad we are on a journey in life. But we don't always know what that journey is or where it will take us. We just know that it will create the biggest changes in our lives. So for better or worse, we need to take the first small step and head in the right direction.
