You Were Born Original

Nowadays it seems like everyone is trying to be the same. But that can't work well. Because you were born original, don't die the photocopy.

Being the elephant in the room isn't always a bad thing, being the elephant in the room show you're not afraid to be different. And we can all be the elephant in the room because we are all different and original. If we are a photocopy than we aren't being our true selves. As an original, we are all part of a greater puzzle that works better together when we are being ourselves. Because a photocopy doesn't work the same if we are placing it in a puzzle. 

 "In a way, you've already won in this world. Because you're the only one who can be you." - Mr. Rodgers.

 What Mr. Rodgers says in the above quote is true. We have already won in this world as ourselves and by being original. If we aren't being original than we haven't won and we are just being the photocopy. Just like with paintings there can only be one original and multiple photocopies. The same goes for you and me. There is only one of each of us. And anyone who tries to copy or follow what we do is just being a photocopy and unoriginal. 

And in order to live our best lives, we need to follow our own paths, no matter how long and slow it might seem. Because in the end, we will appreciate everything that we went through to get there.

--- 1 --- The other day I was feeling a bit bored so I made a couple covers for the story that I started working on. --- 2 --- A couple of weeks ago I was looking up pictures of the minons from "Despicable Me", don't remember why, but while I was scrolling down the page I came across this minion picture: --- 3 --- I found this on Pinterest a while back... --- 4 --- On Sunday we had to shovel snow off the driveway.
